Now you can see your top songs and artists of the year directly within Apple Music.

Music lovers, rejoice! Apple Music’s annual recap, Replay 2024, has officially arrived, and this year, it’s better than ever. For the first time, your personalized music stats are seamlessly integrated into the app itself. If your iPhone is running iOS 18.1 or later, you can access your Replay directly from the Home, New, or Search tabs. If not, you can still check your stats the old-school way—on the Apple Replay website.

But there’s more to this year’s update than just convenience. Apple has packed Replay 2024 with exciting new features, making it the most detailed and shareable recap yet.

What’s New in Replay 2024?

Apple has gone all out to deliver a music recap experience that feels both personal and engaging. Here’s what’s new this year:

  1. Top Listener Rankings: Ever wondered how your music taste stacks up against others? Replay 2024 now reveals whether you’ve made it into the Top 500 or 1,000 listeners for your favorite artist or genre. A perfect bragging right for superfans!
  2. Your Listening Streaks: Replay will show you the longest consecutive days you’ve used Apple Music this year, offering insight into how often music has been your companion.
  3. Monthly Highlights: Discover your top artists, albums, and songs for each month of 2024. Relive your summer anthems or see which tracks dominated your winter playlists.
  4. Deep Listening Insights: Want to know when your obsession with that one song began? Replay now displays the exact dates you started listening to your top song, artist, or album.
  5. Top Artist Loyalty: Find out how many consecutive months you’ve stayed loyal to your favorite artist. Were you on a Taylor Swift streak all year, or did someone else steal the spotlight for a few months?

Customizing Your Replay

If your stats look a little off—perhaps because you share your Apple Music account with a partner, roommates, or kids—don’t worry. Apple Music Business Manager David Emery has shared helpful tips for keeping your Replay accurate. You can now curate your listening data to better reflect your personal music journey.

For Artists: Replay Insights That Matter

Replay isn’t just for listeners. This year, Apple Music is introducing enhanced Replay features for artists as well. Artists can now access detailed stats, including:

  • Total minutes streamed in 2024.
  • The number of unique listeners they reached.
  • A breakdown of the cities where their music was most popular.
  • Their most Shazamed song of the year.

This provides a valuable opportunity for artists to connect with their fans and celebrate their accomplishments with their audience.

The Competition Heats Up

As Replay 2024 lands, the year-end recap season is officially underway. Apple Music’s biggest rival, Spotify, is gearing up to release its much-anticipated Spotify Wrapped, which traditionally sets the internet abuzz with memes and conversations about music tastes. Meanwhile, Amazon Music has joined the recap race with a feature of its own, adding another contender to the mix.

Get Started with Replay 2024

Ready to dive into your musical year in review? To access Replay 2024, ensure your Apple Music app is updated and running on iOS 18.1 or later. You’ll find your Replay insights waiting in the app, or you can head to the Apple Replay website for a desktop experience.
