The fintech sector, once the darling of the pandemic-era boom, experienced a rollercoaster year in 2024. After years of soaring valuations, unprecedented growth, and intense investor interest, the industry faced a slew of challenges that tested its resilience. Among the biggest headlines was the abrupt shutdown—and subsequent unexpected acquisition—of Bench, an accounting software startup. It was a stark reminder of just how quickly fortunes can change in this dynamic space.

Yet, 2025 brings a glimmer of hope. While the pace of funding has slowed, the fintech ecosystem remains vibrant. Many companies are not only weathering the storm but are also expanding their teams. This is a testament to the sector’s ability to adapt, innovate, and thrive even in the face of economic headwinds.

To get a clearer picture of who’s hiring, I recently reached out to fintech companies on social media, asking them to share if they had open positions. The response was overwhelming. Within just over an hour, I heard from more than a dozen companies. Over the course of a few days, that number swelled to over 60. The volume and variety of responses were astonishing, even to someone like me who regularly writes about this space.

Months later, I revisited the responses to see how hiring trends had evolved. Unsurprisingly, some companies have scaled back hiring compared to their peak levels. However, others are doubling down, actively recruiting for roles across engineering, product, marketing, and more. Below, I’ve compiled a detailed list of fintechs that are hiring in 2025. Whether you’re looking for your next opportunity or simply keeping tabs on the industry, this list might just point you in the right direction.

And if you do land a job through this article, let me know on X (formerly Twitter). Everyone loves a happy ending!
