Logitech is leveling up its flagship creative hardware. The MX Creative Console, first launched last fall, has just received a game-changing software update that expands its compatibility with some of the most popular creative applications on the market today — including Adobe Lightroom, Figma, DaVinci Resolve, and Affinity Photo.

Available now for download via the Logi Marketplace, this update brings a wave of fresh functionality and powerful integrations aimed squarely at designers, video editors, photographers, and digital artists looking to supercharge their workflows.

New Apps, New Possibilities

At the heart of the update are brand-new plugins that bring support for several cloud-based and industry-leading apps — a long-standing request from the creative community.

  • Adobe Lightroom (Cloud-based): Created in collaboration with Adobe, the new Lightroom plugin transforms how photographers interact with their images. The MX Creative Console’s signature dial now lets users straighten images with a simple twist, offering more intuitive control than a mouse or keyboard ever could. Meanwhile, the customizable LCD keys on the console’s keypad give photographers quick-access shortcuts for rating, flagging, and navigating between shots with ease.
  • Figma: UX/UI designers rejoice — the MX Console now speaks Figma. The dial lets you dynamically adjust text size and weight, while the keypad streamlines layout tweaks, spacing, and alignment tasks. It’s a fresh layer of physical control in an otherwise digital design space, helping you stay in flow without clicking through endless dropdown menus.
  • DaVinci Resolve: Video editors will appreciate the deepened integration with Blackmagic Design’s popular color grading and editing platform. From timeline scrubbing with the dial to applying color correction shortcuts via the keypad, the MX Console delivers a tactile editing experience previously reserved for much more expensive gear.
  • Affinity Photo: For creators who prefer Serif’s Photoshop alternative, the update also includes a plugin for Affinity Photo, allowing users to map their most-used tools and actions directly to the console for a smoother, more personalized workflow.

Upgrades to Final Cut Pro Integration

In addition to the new plugins, Logitech has rolled out enhanced functionality for Final Cut Pro, Apple’s professional-grade video editing software. The improvements promise deeper customization and smarter mapping options, helping editors slice through projects faster and more efficiently than ever before.

A Year of Innovation Since Launch

The MX Creative Console debuted in October of last year, marking Logitech’s bold step into the world of advanced creative tools following its acquisition of Loupedeck, a company well-known for its customizable control panels popular with streamers and creative professionals alike.

At launch, the MX Console came equipped with plugins for core Adobe applications like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Lightroom Classic. The addition of cloud-based Lightroom, Figma, and Affinity Photo broadens its appeal to a whole new segment of creatives who rely on cloud and collaborative platforms.

Built for Creators, Powered by Feedback

“We’ve heard from our community that the MX Creative Console not only speeds up their workflow but also significantly boosts productivity and reduces the friction of creative tasks,” said Anatoliy Polyanker, General Manager of Logitech’s MX Business Unit. “These new integrations are a direct result of that feedback. By unlocking compatibility with even more tools, we’re opening the MX Console to a much wider range of creators.”

The Future of Creative Control

Retailing at $199.99, the MX Creative Console is more than just a peripheral — it’s a creative command center designed to bridge the gap between software and hardware. With customizable dials, LCD shortcut keys, and a sleek, modular design, it offers tactile precision and flexibility that elevate creative workflows across disciplines.

Whether you’re a designer shaping interfaces in Figma, a photographer editing a portfolio in Lightroom, or a video editor cutting a cinematic sequence in Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve — the MX Creative Console is now better equipped than ever to be your ultimate creative sidekick.
