Threads has made significant strides in making it easier for users to explore trending topics on the platform.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced on Tuesday that U.S. users will now see a label highlighting related trending topics above posts. By tapping on this label, users can dive deeper into the topic, accessing more posts that pertain to it. The new feature includes “Top” and “Recent” tabs, allowing users to filter posts based on their preference.

“Hoping this makes it easier to find posts and follow conversations that are relevant to your interests,” Mosseri shared on Threads.

Threads began testing the trending topics feature in the U.S. back in March. By April, the feature was available to all U.S. users, reflecting the company’s commitment to enhancing user experience by helping users discover more relevant content.

In its continuous quest to improve content discovery, Threads rolled out a new TweetDeck-like multi-feed experience on its desktop interface in May. This feature aims to provide users with a more organized and customizable way to consume content.

Furthermore, Threads is experimenting with a similar multi-feed experience for a limited number of iOS users. “We’re always testing new ways to improve the experience on Threads. This test provides more ways to customize your feed and follow topics that are relevant to your interests,” the company stated.

These updates underline Threads’ dedication to refining its platform, ensuring users can effortlessly find and engage with content that matters to them.
