WhatsApp is set to revolutionize its platform with a new, creative AI feature that allows users to generate AI-crafted avatars of themselves in a myriad of imagined settings.

Spotted by WABetaInfo in the latest WhatsApp Beta for Android (version 2.24.14.13), this innovative feature employs a blend of images, text prompts, and Meta’s powerful AI Llama model to bring your fantasies to life. According to The Verge, this groundbreaking tool is designed to transform the way users interact with the app.

“Take photos of yourself once, then imagine yourself in any setting from the forest to outer space,” reads a screenshot from WhatsApp. The feature is integrated into the Meta AI Chat, where users can type commands like “Imagine in…” or “@Meta AI imagine me…” followed by their desired scenario. The AI then uses the user’s likeness to generate a personalized image.

Although the exact launch date for this feature’s wider rollout remains undisclosed, it is confirmed to be an optional addition for WhatsApp users.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development, and get ready to see yourself in places you’ve only dreamed of!
